It’s always a pleasure to get out and about with a camera, no more so than when out with a theme in mind. This shot is for the Countrylivinged blog of Susy Smith and her team at Country Living magazine. Taken at a farmers market in the center of Richmond, where the growers, jam makers and cake bakers all come into the London suburbs to sell their wares. The theme, whilst our lives sometimes revolve about being in town and not in the country, we can still support are farmers and craft makers.
Susy takes great pride in her knowledge and love of the British countryside, from bird watching to bread baking to gardening to country home making… but it is her support of the farmer, the craft maker, the country artisan that makes her the ideal person to head up such an esteemed magazine… long may it last. Long may we be inspired by her publication.
